Generally I say that's a result of your brain using new mental muscles it's not used to using. Should go away if you do the activities consistently for a while
11:55 AM
Most people never get headaches or head pressures or anything like that, but a lot of people do
I think both thoughts may be correct. initially, I adhered to the idea that it may initially be difficult for our brains to get used to certain changes and therefore headaches arise.
12:00 PM
however, my headaches have become too frequent, as well as a large amount of fatigue.
A tulpa is basically an imagined person you've interacted with and held the intent for to be an independent person from you for long enough your brain starts to make it so
6:08 AM
Accidental-tulpa-or-not is usually up to how much you thought of them as a separate person from yourself, with something you consider yourself directly fully in control of usually being called an imaginary friend instead by this community (though not everyone necessarily agrees)
6:10 AM
Regardless, you can always make something into a tulpa by following the standard practice of interacting with them and expecting them to be responding on their own. It might (and often does) sound/feel like you responding for them early on, but if you keep thinking of them as them and not you, their thoughts/voice should start to feel separate and eventually easily distinguishable from yours over time.
I think I felt pretty in control of them (Including making them make "meta-references" like "oh I'm being controlled by you anyways") but sometimes it felt new. Or that could be a placebo effect. Not quite sure. I might make them into a tulpa if I decide to, still thinking if I really can handle everything about that though.
So is there an easy way to tell if something from your past is actually a tulpa?

i don’t think it matters if what you had in the past was a tulpa experience or not - just focus on what you have here and now and grow from it
As others have said, you can make her a tulpa if you want to. Keep in mind even fictional characters can be used as a base for your tulpa.
Just because it is tulpa-like doesn't mean it is one. You decide to accept it as a tulpa or not.
They probably won't identify with your body regardless, since they will have a different form
But keep in mind that even if you choose a form for a tulpa, they can change it. So if you want, you can give them a non humanoid form and allow them to change it if they don't like it
would it be good to state early on [??] that yeah , they are going to be in a body that theyre not going to identify with , they can change their form , all that ?
another thing im seeing a lot of is to not create a tulpa untill you know youre in a good mental state ive got depression ofc , had it for quite some time but i feel like im actually getting better im able to rationalize my thinking more often , im growing the will to help myself , and have an app that i feel greatly helps me yet i can still have some pretty bad dips and i dont want that to hurt any tulpas so ig should i proceed [with caution] or hold off until im sure i feel more stable ?
My tulpas pretty much changed my life with their support, which is why I've committed to sticking around this community for 9 years now to help others have even close to the same experience
But still yeah, if you struggle with invasive thoughts or being unable to distinguish imagination from reality (eg. in bad schizophrenia), then getting invested in tulpamancy can cause more harm than good
4:30 AM
Though, invasive thoughts without a disorder like schizophrenia attached can generally be worked through, by learning to stop attributing meaning or value to them and just letting them go.
4:31 AM
So I don't know that I would call having any invasive thoughts a reason not to practice tulpamancy - only if they're especially bad and feel totally beyond your control.(edited)
nodsnods i get invasive thoughts every now and them but i think im able to stave them off relatively well , even if im still left a little shaken if it was an especially bad one
4:32 AM
this is all really interesting , honestly wish i looked into it sooner instead of just assuming
4:32 AM
then again my mental health has improved a lot since then so maybe i was meant to look into it now
ah i have another question [sorry for the barrage of them ]
4:52 AM
so im a little nervous to say so but im a reality shifter and am wondering how thatd interact with having a tulpa id think that my conciseness would be the only one shifted while my tulpa[s] would stay in the body ?
I think that depends on how you see it. This server generally takes a more scientific stance on tulpamancy, but I'm assuming you're talking about shifting in a spiritual/metaphysical sense?
4:54 AM
If so, I'd recommend asking in #metaphysics . If I'm wrong, then I apologize.
It's generally better to ask things regarding that kinda thing there, since not everyone here believes in [insert X spiritual thing here] and meta is somewhere where you'll probably get more direct answers.
so since tulpas are their own people w/ their own likes and dislikes , how would listening to music pan out ? ive got a kind of uh vast and interesting music taste would it just be like listening to music as you would with someone else thats in the same room except theyre in your head ? but since theyre in your head with you wouldnt that mean they cant really ,,,, get away ??
I don't think that would be a very big issue either way, if they don't like it, they don't need to be anywhere near front to percieve it, or you could compromise and find what kind of music they might like out of your own playlists, so you're both enjoying something
another thing , which , if this is like a topic thats inappropriate or too personal or smthn like that just say so and i wont go any further im guessing that a tulpa knowing theyre a tulpa doesnt really cause any like ,,, existential crises do they ? argh hard to articulate what i mean
